These low planters maintain a wide diameter and have broader bases. This makes them ideal for shallow rooted shrubs; such as azalea and lavender. The low, broad aspect also makes them a stable base for trees such as acer and olive. The rim is sharply defined, with a band on the shoulder and two more bands at the foot.
